Spring into early summer has a particular energy to it. The days stretch out, people spend more time outside, and skin notices the difference before anything else does. It was a full quarter for us. Live TV, summer fairs, study results, and the kind of reviews that remind you exactly why you started. Here's what April, May, and June looked like.
Back on Live TV and Selling Out our Nourishing Hand & Foot Cream for the 12th time!
Louise was on live TV with TJC three times this quarter, and each appearance had its own moment.
In April, she joined presenter Carmel Thomas to mark TJC's 20th anniversary, a full-circle kind of occasion, talking through the story and the science behind Dead Sea Dream on a channel that's been part of our journey for a long time.
In May, she was back with Chloe Marshall. Our Nourishing Hand & Foot Cream sold out for the 12th time! There's something that still feels magical about that, even after all this time, our audience deciding to trust us to soothe their reactive skin. It truly sank in our hearts that our products are helping to finally get clear skin.
In June, Louise was on air alongside Chloe Marshall once again. By the end of the show, both the Nourishing Hand & Foot Cream and the Purifying Mineral Mud Mask had sold out. It still gets us every time.
3 Months Filled with Heartfelt Events: Real Conversations with Our Community and New Faces
This quarter was a kickoff of event season and every event reminded us why we keep doing it.
We were at Wealden Times' Spring Pop-Up at Penshurst Place, Wealden Times Midsummer Fair in Kent, and three separate events at Alver Valley Garden Centre. Five events. A lot of conversations.
The best moments were the familiar faces coming back to restock. The people who'd been quietly searching for a natural skincare option that actually works for their eczema or sensitive skin, and finally found one. The gardeners at Alver Valley, who knew better than anyone what daily life does to your hands: soil, sun, water, and just wanted something that gave back what the day had taken.
Those conversations are the reason we keep showing up.
The Science Caught Up with What Our Customers Already Knew
This quarter also brought the results of a consumer perception study on our Refining Body Scrub (24 participants, four weeks of use). By week four, 100% agreed their skin felt smoother, softer, and more radiant. 100% said it was suitable for sensitive skin. 94% said they noticed the visible reduction of ingrown hairs. Every measure improved week on week, from the first use through to the final result. The numbers are satisfying to see in a table. But honestly, they just confirm what people have been telling us at events and in reviews for a long time. It works, and it keeps working.
Two Awards for the Purity Mud Bar
In April, our Purity Mud Bar won not one but two beauty awards from the Vegan Beauty Awards and the Vegan Choice Awards.
The CEO of the Vegan Beauty Awards described it as giving a deep, satisfying clean without leaving skin feeling tight. That kind of external recognition matters. But more than anything, it validates what our customers have been telling us for years.
The Reviews that Stopped Us in Our Tracks
Two reviews came in this quarter for our Purity Mud Bar that we keep returning to.
